I have declared war on terror in my own life. Terror is my enemy, and in any war, you have to know the enemy. So I did a little (very little, actually) research, and I have devised a foolproof plan to eliminate terror. It's pretty easy once you know the enemy. So here is my two-step method to eliminate terror.
It really is simple. See, 'Terror' is a state of mind. Fear is terror. And I don't mean that figuratively. Terror is, literally, by definition, fear. When you are afraid, that is terror. When you are not afraid, there is no terror. It's just what terror means -- it's not open to interpretation. Period. End of story. And in light of this, people today are going about this whole war on terror thing all wrong. Their plan uses what I call the 5-step method:
Step 1: Kill and/or arrest somebody who is going to kill us.
Step 2: Repeat step 1 until the people who are going to kill us are dead and/or in jail
Step 3: Now there's nothing to be afraid of.
Step 4: Don't be afraid.
Step 5: Repeat from step 1 when necessary.
There are a few problems with the 5-step method, though, particularly in steps 1, 2, and 3. I will explain these problems below, and how my 2-step plan avoids them.
| Step | Problems | Solution |
| 1 | --We don't know who is going to kill us until they do. --Arresting random people scares people, causing more terror. | Don't be afraid |
| 2 | --Completion cannot be verified. --Terror continues until completion is verified. | Don't be afraid |
| 3 | --This step cannot be reached (see above). --Terror continues until this step is reached. | Don't be afraid. |
As you can see, once the problems are remedied, the 5-step plan looks like this:
Step 1: Don't be afraid.
Step 2: Don't be afraid.
Step 3: Don't be afraid.
Step 4: Don't be afraid.
Step 5: Repeat from step 1 when necessary.
Eliminating the redundant parts, we get:
Step 1: Don't be afraid.
Step 2: Repeat from step 1 when necessary.
Sure, bad things happen. People kill each other. Attacks happen. When ordinary 'people' make you afraid, they become 'terrorists' -- that is, people who cause terror (intense fear). No fear ==> no terror ==> no terrorists.
And would-be terrorists (people who want to cause terror, but haven't yet) will be thwarted before we even know who they are.
